Edaine

Edaine often feels out of control in her life, but he would never dare letting anyone see that part of her. Instead he is desperately clawing for control anywhere she can get it, from her job to her relationships, often with unforseen consequences. She works as a professional architect, designing overwhelming brustalist buildings that suggest power but no comfort. It is often the only place where he feels like he can make confident decisions, and often buries herself in her work if everything else is falling apart. Her relationships are less successful. Edaine often struggles communication what he wants, and while his matesprite is off fighting politics she can feel their connection crumbling without making any attempts to save it. Instead she indulges in her other favorite activity, pissing people off on the internet. Edaine is almost famously bad with technology and prefers to keep much of her private life on paper, but few things bring her more joy than going into forums and pretending to know shit. On one of these escapades he encounteres a BDSM subculture, a place almost perfectely tailored to her desire for controlling relationships. And being an annoying bitch on a forum quickly gets her the pitch attention of other people. But ultimately this kind of distraction doesn't solve deeper issues, and a kismesis needs the same kind of commitment she is incapable to give. Her feelings of powerlessness often leave her paralysed with indecision, unwilling to box himself into one or the other choice, often leaving him with nothing in the end. Nevertheless, you need to get very close to her to see any of those flaws, and to many people she's a confident, intimidating, put-together presence.
