Cyrila was born and raised into a splinter group of the Subjuglator religion that started to develop away from the main doctrine in strange ways. She's an imposing figure that has taken on a leading role in the religious and political landscape of her planet, but is increasingly grappling with her faith and other long held beliefs about the world she was raised in. This newfound introspection is making her push for social change, but she nonetheless still has many stereotypes and misconceptions about lowbloods to unlearn and tends to end up in microagressions when interacting with them. Cyrila is also moving away from classical clown activities, prefering harp instruments and collecting art over killing and getting high (but in her heart she will always be a practical prankster no matter what). She's confident and foreward, often leaving her conversation partners feeling cornered if they can't match her energy, and sometimes she would do good listening more, even if she has her heart in the right place. She tends to get caught up in her work, feeling deeply commited to her mission even at the cost of her personal life and the people she loves.
Appearance
Cyrila is a tall, fat purpleblood, a force of nature you cannot look away from in every room she enters. Her afro-textured hair is usually proped up in big, complicated styles, enhancing her demanding presence even more, and the same goes for her dramatic royal dressed she loves to wear. Her golden spiked headband sits somewhere between crown and halo, signaling her important position to everyone in her vicinity (and returning her to a more grounded position when she takes it off at home). Her horns are equally massive, curled up towards the sky and heavy enough to give her regular neck pain. When she is on religious duty she puts on white facepaint that evokes a crying clown, but she doesn't particularly enjoy it and limits herself to deep purple lipstick on most normal days. She's always in the center of attention, and people barely have time to pay attention to her seductive curves or attractive face before they get sweeped away by her passionate aura (but she still knows how to use her physical charms to her advantage if she really wants something or someone). Cyrila usually wears her oval sign as a necklace, but also incorperates similar shapes into most of her jewlery
Canris
Cyrila and Canris only met after Edaine's death, and they are both bounded by grief and full of hostility due to the events leading up to it.
Edaine
Edaine and Cyrila have been matesprites for a very long time, and they are happy, truly, if it wasn't for all their work and some surpressed desires and the inability to talk about any of their issues. And then it all comes crashing down and suddenly they can't ignore the way their relationship has degraded anymore. Murder may not be the best way to save your marriage, but maybe a harsh break was exactely what they needed to refuel the flames and find out if they really were made for each other.
Xandir
Cyrila and Xandir cannot stand each other in totally platonic ways. Definitely no sexual tension here, no flirting, no pinning against walls. Just heated debates about politics and how to best improve living standards for trolls. There is absolutely no reason for Xandir to get all blushy and stammering aroung the big tall beautiful lady. Black crushes are overrated anyways.
